Green clean Pro is an alternative to algaecides that utilize either copper or synthetic chemicals as their active ingredients.

This professional strength formula eliminates a broad spectrum of algae on contact. It can be used by itself, in conjunction with biological products, or in rotation with other algaecides to help maintain clear, algae-free waters.

Green Clean Pro is designed for use in lakes, ponds and other large bodies of water as well as on non-painted surfaces such as benches, docks, and walkways.

Green Clean Pro is a granular product that attacks planktonic and filamentous algae on contact. You can actually see it working as you apply Green Clean Pro to the algae. Green Clean Pro's active ingredient, sodium carbonate peroxyhydrate, creates a powerful oxidation reaction that destroys algal cell membranes and chlorophyll, providing immediate control of algae. Fast-acting (within 60 seconds of application), it leaves behind no harmful residues and adds 13% bio-available oxygen to the water.

Can also be applied as a spot or perimeter treatment. When used at the labeled rates, Green clean PRO will not harm fish (including sensitive fish such as rainbow trout), plants or aquatic life. Green clean PRO is labeled for use up to 90 lbs per acre foot of water. EPA approved and NSF/ANSI Standard 60 certified for drinking water application.

Begin application in spring as water temperature warms to 60º F and above. Early treatment when growth first appears or begins to create a nuisance will reduce the amount of Green Clean Pro you will need. Early treatment will also reduce the amount of dead growth.

Heavy, out of control growth may require more than one application or physical removal to gain control. For best results, use under conditions of minimal water flow. Apply early on the morning of a calm, sunny day.

To apply, determine the volume of water to be treated in acre-feet.

Contact with algae will be improved by breaking apart heavy surface mats before application

In Wisconsin and other states, chemical use permits are required for all herbicide/algaecide applications or you must have in place a current Type I or Type II fish farm license.
