Successfully controls a broad range of submersed, floating, and emersed weeds in lakes, ponds, and drainage ditches. Great on land too! Use around patios, ornamental gardens, and along fence lines. REWARD is also effective against many forms of difficult to control algae when combined with CUTRINE PLUS LIQUID and a non-ionic surfactant such as CIDE KICK II. Rapidly absorbed by foliage REWARD Liquid begins to work immediately on contact. Wilting and loss of foliage occur quite rapidly, usually within a few days. Effective on many different weeds.REWARD is effective anytime live foliage is accessible. Best results occur when applied to reasonably developed foliage, but before growth becomes too dense or weeds flower. Under low light conditions REWARD may be translocated to other weed parts from the point of contact. When exposed to light the herbicide is activated and kills the weed. |

Turbid water or mud covered foliage will reduce absorption and effectiveness. For difficult to control weeds the addition of CUTRINE PLUS LIQUID can boost effectiveness. Use of a non-ionic surfactant such as CIDE KICK II is highly recommended. Begin application in spring as water temperature warms to 60º F and above. Early treatment when growth first appears or begins to create a nuisance will reduce the amount of REWARD needed. Early treatment will also reduce the amount of dead growth. Control will last for several weeks to several months depending on local conditions. Several applications will usually be required to maintain season long control. Retreat as re-growth begins to appear. Allow 1 to 2 weeks between consecutive treatments. |

Heavy, out of control growth may require more than one application or physical removal to gain control. For best results, use under conditions of minimal water flow. Apply early on the morning of a calm, sunny day. Contact time should be at least 3 hours. To apply, determine the volume of water to be treated in acre-feet. Dilute with a minimum of 9 parts water. Spray uniformly over the water surface with a Tank or Backpack Sprayer. Allow material to rain down in coarse droplets for better surface penetration. Application Tips: How to apply Reward? No water use restrictions. |
