StocktrineII is a liquid algaecide designed to provide effective, long-lasting control of existing algae growth in watering troughs, livestock tanks and ponds. Stocktrine >II prevents reinfestation of problematic algae when it is applied as part of a scheduled maintenance program. |

Stocktrine II will not corrode galvanized tanks or equipment. Application rates are 1 ounce per 250 gallons of stock water with a quart treating 8,000 gallons of stock water.* To apply dilute the recommended amount of Stock Trine® II with sufficient water. Stocktrine II is best applied using a tank-type sprayer relegated to algae control.in the event a tank-type sprayer is not practical a sprinkling can may be substituted. Apply the solution evenly over the water surface. For optimum results, apply under calm, sunny conditions early in the day when water temperatures are at least 60oF (15oC). To maximize chemical contact time, apply during periods when stock water consumption is low or watering facility is not in use. Apply Stocktrine II at least every other week in tanks and troughs and monthly in ponds to control existing growth and prevent regrowth. More frequent applications may be necessary during the summer months when water consumption and temperatures are high. |

In Wisconsin and other states, chemical use permits are required for all herbicide/algaecide applications or you must have in place a current Type I or Type II fish farm license. Check with your local and/or state regulatory group for specific requirements. In order to apply chemicals in liquid form within Wisconsin, the applicator must be licensed with the State.
